Guidelines
Classes:
Classes begin in September and will run through the end of May.
Dance class consists of 45 minutes of dance instruction each week: Tap and Ballet with age-appropriate Hip Hop and Yoga mixed in every week.
Should your preschool be closed or cancel class for ANY reason, we will not hold class.
Dance Attire:
Students may bring Tap and Ballet shoes to dance class, however these are not necessary. Shoes and Dance Attire can be purchased through our website -click on the “Order Dancewear /Shoes” link at the top of the page-or the retailer of your choice–Target, Amazon, Jete’ Dancewear, etc.
If your dancer does not have Tap and Ballet shoes, they may dance in socks for Ballet and Yoga and their shoes for Tap and Hip Hop.
**PLEASE MAKE SURE TO PLACE YOUR CHILD’S NAME IN HIS/HER DANCE SHOES**
Leotards (any color or style) are acceptable for dance class, but not required.
Tights: NO TIGHTS. Tights cause ‘potty accidents’ even in older dancers!
Please bring all dance items in a separate bag – i.e. a dance bag or a plastic grocery bag, ziploc bag, etc-with your child’s name clearly labeled.
Please note: no special dance attire is needed-regular clothes are perfect.
Tuition:
TUITION IS TO BE PAID NO LATER THAN THE 5th OF EACH MONTH
Any dancer’s account not paid by the 5th of the month will be charged a $10 late fee.
Tuition is based on a yearly dance season. The yearly fee is broken down into monthly payments for your convenience.
Tuition is not prorated unless your dancer receives less than 3 classes in a month. If that is the case, please contact us for a pro-rated credit applied to the next month’s tuition.
Take a quick glance at a yearly calendar–all days of the week have months where your dancer is receiving 5 classes, most months are 4 classes, and some months with holidays are three classes. Tuition is the same each month of the dance season. Regular dance season runs September through May.

*You have the option to sign up for automatic payments charged to your credit/debit card.
***Should your account become delinquent and you have failed to contact us to make arrangements for payment, your child is subject to termination from our program. Any unpaid account will be reported to our collection agency.
Registration:
Register online through the Client/Parent Portal at the top of our home page.
Please check to be sure you are on the correct Division/Website of Dancing Little Stars: look at the CITY and State of your PRESCHOOL address (not your home address) to reach the correct division of Dancing Little Stars.
Once we receive your registration, you will receive a confirmation email from us. Please add Dancing Little Stars: Inc. via thestudiodirector.biz to your contacts. This will be the email future communications will come to you from. It is your responsibility to contact us if you do not receive an email from us within two days of registration. Otherwise, we will assume you are receiving all of our emails. We send most communications through email.

Parent Observation:
We kindly ask that if you are going to come and watch: do not let your child know you are there until after dance class. Please try to ensure and that none of the children can see you. Please peek from the other room, through the window or the glass panel on the door to our classroom.
We have found, through experience, that when parents come into the room to watch class, the children do not pay attention to the dance instruction.
Withdrawal:
A parent or guardian may withdraw a dancer from dance class at any time, for any reason.
Please notify us of dancer’s withdraw from class: either email, phone call, or text message. We have waiting lists for each school, and would like to allow another student access to class as soon as possible.
Special Note:
Dancing Little Stars reserves the right to terminate any student’s enrollment in dance class at any time, for any reason. A parent or guardian may withdraw their child from dance class at any time, for any reason. Dancing Little Stars reserves the right to use group or individual photos/videos taken during class or at the Dance Recital of your dancer to include, but not limited to our program promotions, social media, website, displays and material. We mainly communicate through email, so make sure we have a correct email address for you.
